Semiconductor gR fuses in sizes NT00 to NT3, rated 40A to 630A, for fast let-through protection of thyristors, rectifiers, and power electronics. ETAL's semiconductor gR fuses are purpose-built for protecting power electronic devices — thyristors, rectifiers, IGBTs, and other semiconductor components — where a standard fuse's clearing time is too slow to prevent damage. Available across four body sizes (NT00, NT1, NT2, NT3), the range covers current ratings from 40 A up to 630 A: NT00 spans 40–125 A, NT1 spans 63–250 A, NT2 spans 200–400 A, and NT3 spans 315–630 A. Their fast, current-limiting characteristic gives semiconductor circuits the sub-cycle clearing needed to protect expensive power electronics from short-circuit fault energy, making them a standard specification for variable-speed drives, rectifier bridges, and industrial power conversion equipment.
